TenZ CS2 Full Configuration: Settings, & Crosshair
Tyson “TenZ” Ngo is now more popular in the Valorant scene but at the start of his career, he was a CS2 prodigy. His snappy and flashy aim was one of the reasons for his popularity which led to him being signed by Cloud9, a prestigious esports team. TenZ is known for constantly changing his in-game settings at all times, he even sometimes changed his mice mid-game. However, his most updated settings are the ones below and despite alterations, seemed to be the most popular.
Mouse Settings
Unlike other pros, like FaZe Rain, TenZ uses a widely unpopular mouse, this is likely the reason for his settings being very different than most other pros.
DPI | 1600 |
Sensitivity | 0.65 |
eDPI | 1040 |
Zoom Sensitivity | 1 |
Hz | 1000 |
Windows Sensitivity | 6 |
His use of the AK-47 means he needs precision which explains his low sensitivity.
Advanced Video and Resolution Settings
The use of the stretched screen has become widely popular over the last decade and despite his different settings, TenZ still uses a stretched view.
Resolution (and Aspect Ratio) | 1280×960 (4:3 aspect ratio) |
Brightness | 126% |
Display Mode | Fullscreen |
Scaling Mode | Stretched |
Anti-Aliasing | 8x MSAA |
Texture Filtering Mode | Bilinear |
Shadow Quality | High |
Model/Texture Blur | Medium |
Motion Blur | Disabled |
V-Sync | Disabled |
Shader Detail | Low |
Particle Detail | High |
FidelityFX Super Resolution | Quality |
NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency | Disabled (Highest Quality) |
His use of high settings is different to some pros, but with him being a streamer, he may prioritise the viewership too by making the game look as good as possible.
Crosshair Settings
TenZ changes his crosshair settings a lot too, which makes it hard to keep track of. But, his standard crosshair settings are available for us to tell you, despite the changes that happen mid-game.
Style | Classic Static |
Color | Custom (Red: 0, Green: 150, Blue: 0) |
Gap | -3 |
Thickness | 1 |
Outline | Off |
Dot | No |
Crosshair Code | CSGO-w5BqW-mxjeZ-NkqcM-npwSW-cn3cQ |
FOV | 68 |
Offset X/Y/Z | 2.5 / 0 / -1.5 |
His crosshair is very well-balanced, with slight thickness and the regular green color which allows for easy copying for us, and good precision for him.
Peripherals and Hardware
His setup is obviously high quality and hard to obtain for the average player, however, it is still good to keep your eye on.
Mouse | ZOWIE S2-DW |
Mousepad | Custom Mousepad |
Keyboard | Wooting 80HE Black |
Monitor | ZOWIE XL2586X |
Headset | Xtrfy H1 |
CPU | Intel Core i9-14900K |
GPU | MSI GeForce RTX 4090 Gaming X Trio |
RAM | Teamgroup DELTA RGB DDR5 32GB |
One of the collect things about TenZ’s setup is the fact that he has a custom mousepad, like s1mple. However, unlike s1mple’s, you cannot buy TenZ’s mousepad.
Radar Settings
His radar settings are the final thing we will look at today and maybe, the most important.
Radar Centers Player | Yes |
Radar is Rotating | Yes |
Toggle Shape With Scoreboard | Yes |
Radar HUD Size | 1.3 |
Radar Map Zoom | 0.45 |
TenZ uses quite a big radar in comparison to a lot of other players, with it being fairly zoomed out too.
